In the contemporary world, many countries showcase works of art from other nations rather than focusing on their local artists. While some people advocate for promoting cross-cultural exchange among countries, I strongly believe that all cultures should concentrate on strengthening their national identity, as it may also inspire their future generations.

First and foremost, museums and art galleries should showcase pieces of art from their local artists in order to raise awareness among the younger generations and preserve their national identity. As a matter of fact, many young individuals are not aware about the history of their countries, which may substantially weaken their unique cultures. For instance, if nations host a cultural event or an exhibition involving educational institutions, the younger generation is far more likely to preserve the customs and traditions of their country. This can practice can inspire young individuals to preserve their cultural heritage and uniqueness of their countries, allowing them to strengthen the national identity.

Furthermore, if art galleries showcase works of art from local creators, it might not only encourage self-expression but also promote the country's image. Consequently, it is highly probable that there would be more emerging artists, as they are more supported by their native countries. As a result, art galleries can significantly enrich their collections while supporting their local creators and attracting more international visitors.

All in all, museums and art galleries can contribute to preservation of their customs and traditions by showcasing their historical treasures and promoting local artists. In addition to that, it can also raise historical awareness among the younger generations and attract more foreigners.
