The majority of students of full time university spend a significant amount of time on their studies. However, some people believe that students should also do other activities besides studying. I completely agree with this opinion because this helps them unwind from hard acdemic pressure and they can develop a range of skills which may be beneficial in both educational and professional disciplines.
Engaging in extracurricular activities prevent suffering from stress as they will spent their leisure time by enjoying the activity, they can forget about the academic pressure and relax without worryings. For instance, the students who took a part in such activities can achieve better results than those who focus only on studies. As a result, after taking a good rest, they can concentrate better on their studies and be much more productive.
A wide range of extracurriculiar activities help students gain several useful skills in the world of work. For example, some extracurricular activities such as playing tennis and chess require a student to be flexible, play fast and analyze the game, thus develop decisions-making skills concisely, time management capability and the ability to deliver under pressure. These skills are invaluable in a professional setting, where it is essential to be able to cope with workload pressure and be productive throughout the working process. The more activities that students participate in , the greater the opportunity to develop such skills.
In conclusion, I would argue that students should be engaged in such activities besides the studies because they help students cope with academic challanges and develop a range of skills that they can take advantage of them when they start work

The essay is well-organized and clearly addresses the prompt with relevant arguments. To improve the score, the writer needs to refine their grammatical accuracy and use more precise academic vocabulary, while also ensuring spelling is error-free.
Task Response - 7
- The essay clearly presents a position and supports it throughout. - Main ideas are extended logically but could benefit from deeper exploration of 'other activities'. - All parts of the prompt are addressed, and the conclusion matches the introduction.
Coherence & Cohesion - 6
- Paragraphing is present, but internal cohesion is sometimes mechanical. - Transition words like 'For instance' and 'In conclusion' are used correctly. - Reference words could be improved to avoid repetition; referents are sometimes slightly unclear.
Lexical Resource - 6
- Vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks precision in places (e.g., 'play fast' is vague). - There are minor spelling errors ('acdemic', 'extracurriculiar', 'challanges'). - Collocations are mostly functional but occasionally lack native naturalness.
Grammatical Range & Accuracy - 6
- There are several grammatical errors: 'students of full time university' instead of 'full-time university students', 'activities prevent' instead of 'activities prevents', and 'they will spent' instead of 'they spend'. - The range of complex structures is attempted but often leads to minor errors. - Punctuation is generally acceptable, though some spacing issues occur.
