In contemporary economics, variety of methods are used by different corporations, in order to enhance sales procceses of particular products. While advertising and setting competetive prices are crucial to promote the goods, the most effective option for both companies and customers can be improving product quality.
One common approach to boost the sales is advertisments. Companies can promote their products through traditional and digital media, such as tv, radio, billboards or social media platforms. This can significantly increase the brand awareness and attract thousands of new customers. For example, if maintaining a celebrity endorsement, a marketing strategy where a generally admired famous person advertises a certain brand's product, individuals will feel a psychological desire to emulate them and purchase the product. Another useful technique to improve the sales might be lowering prices than competitors and offering various discounts. Such pricing strategy can appeal to price-sensetive consumers and make the product affordable to most layers of society. For instance, products might seem more attractive to cost-conscious customers by those buy-one-get-one-free offers or seasonal discounts.
However, among these methods, improving product quality is arguably the most efficient one. In other words, using better materials or adding brand new features can create long term customer satisfaction which is strategically vital to companies. As an example, a smartphone company may spend millions on advertising, but if the device performs poorly, people will not purchase it again. In contrast, a reliable and innovative product can generate sustained demand through positive reviews and word-of-mouth recommendations.
In conclusion, although promotion of goods through advertisments or lower costs is common aproach, development of product quality is undeniably the most effective one. Because superior quality provides lasting impression and impactful recommendations.
