The pie chart compares activeness of men and women in Australia in the different years: 2011 and 2014.

It is clear that usage of social media was uncommon for men in 2011, while the vast majority of women was socially active once a week during 2011. It is also important to note that both gender representators spent huge percentage of their time on social media in a daily basis in 2014.

Looking at the information in more detail, we can see that activeness of women decreased significantly in 2014, rating 22 percent. In contrast, daily usage increased by 29 %, being the dominant. Figures for few times a week and once a week usage also experienced upward trend, halving remarkably.

44 % of the opposite gender recorded as active users of social media in 2011, but the rates decreased in 2014, achieving 30 %. Male gender prioritized every- day usage reaching 45 % in 2014. However, they demonstrated a mere drop in a weekly basis.

Task Achievement - 6

- The response covers the main requirements of the task by comparing social media use by men and women in 2011 and 2014. - An overview is attempted, capturing some main trends, though some of the detail is inaccurate or misinterprets the charts. - Data selection is somewhat mechanical and lacks precise support for all claims.

Coherence & Cohesion - 6

- Paragraph organization is generally clear with an introduction, overview, and body paragraphs. - Cohesive devices are attempted, but transitions between sentences can feel slightly mechanical or awkward. - Referencing is sometimes confusing, such as 'gender representators' and 'the opposite gender'.

Lexical Resource - 6

- Vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, though precision is lacking in several places. - Word formation issues appear, such as 'gender representators' instead of 'representatives of both genders'. - Collocations are occasionally unnatural, e.g., 'demonstrated a mere drop in a weekly basis'.

Grammatical Range & Accuracy - 6

- A mix of simple and complex sentence forms is used, but flexibility is somewhat limited. - Errors in article usage and prepositions occur throughout ('in a daily basis', 'rating 22 percent'). - Punctuation is generally well controlled, though spacing around percent signs is inconsistent.
