The bar chart compares the average snow depth, in centimetres, at a particular ski resort in New Zealand over a six-month period, from November to April, across three years.

Overall, snow depth increased substantially in all three years, although the patterns varied. Year Three started with the highest figure, whereas Year Two had the lowest. By April, however, Year One had recorded the greatest snow depth, while Year Three experienced a noticeable decline.

In November, the snow depth was relatively similar in all three years, ranging from approximately 90 cm to 105 cm. In December, Year Three saw a considerable increase to 150 cm, while Year One rose to around 130 cm. In contrast, Year Two fell slightly to about 75 cm. By January, all three figures had increased, with Year Three reaching approximately 180 cm, compared with 150 cm for Year One and 120 cm for Year Two.

The most dramatic changes occurred from January onwards. In February, snow depth rose sharply in all three years, reaching about 430 cm in Year One, 390 cm in Year Two and 350 cm in Year Three. In March, Year One increased further to approximately 450 cm, while the figures for the other two years remained unchanged. By April, Year One peaked at around 470 cm, the highest figure shown on the chart. Year Two also increased slightly to 400 cm, whereas Year Three dropped considerably to approximately 300 cm.
