The table compares the percentage of women being employed in the government and management in 2 European and 3 American countries in 2000.

Overall. it is apparent that Canada and Norway were the dominant countries in the proportion of females working in parliament, while more than half of the managers were women in Norway and Italy, which was the highest figure. On the other hand, the female population in Uruguay worked relatively less in both parliament and management.

Regarding the total seats in parliament leaders, the rate of women made up 36% in Norway, leading this category. It was followed by Canada with 28% and Tobago and Trinidad accounted for approximately half as much as of Norway(19%). There was not a noticeable difference between the percentage of females in government in Uruguay and Italy, 8% and 10% respectively.

In terms of female managers, the maximum proportions were shown by Italy and Norway. Tobago and Trinidad demonstrated slightly lower figure, becoming the third in this category. By contrast, the share of women in Canada and Uruguay presented the exact same indicator, which amounted to 37%.
