The bar chart illustrates visitor numbers for four London museums – the British Museum, the History Museum, the National Museum, and the Science Museum – across five months in 2015: June, July, August, September, and December.

Overall, August was the busiest month for all museums, while the British Museum consistently attracted the highest attendance throughout the period. The National Museum recorded the lowest figures, and December generally saw a decline in visitors.

Looking at the two most popular museums, the British Museum had stable numbers of 400,000 in June and July, then rose sharply to around 720,000 in August, before falling to 600,000 in September and 450,000 in December. The History Museum followed a similar pattern, starting at roughly 420,000 in June, staying at 400,000 in July, peaking at 600,000 in August, then dropping to about 390,000 in September and plummeting to 250,000 in December.

Regarding the remaining museums, the Science Museum began with 450,000 visitors in June, dipped to 400,000 in July, then rose to over 400,000 in August and reached 500,000 in September, before falling sharply to 300,000 in December. In contrast, the National Museum had much lower and more stable figures, with around 200,000 visitors in most months, except for a moderate rise to over 300,000 in August.
