The provided visuals illustrate and compare the volume of international visitors and the resulting revenue in four Asian nations between 2000 and 2014. Overall, all four countries experienced significant growth in both categories, with Thailand consistently leading in both tourist arrivals and total income by the end of the period.

Looking at the table, all countries started with under 10 million visitors in 2000. While growth was steady but modest for the first decade, 2014 saw a significant surge. Thailand’s visitor numbers climbed to 24 million, nearly doubling its 2005 figure. Singapore followed with 15.1 million, while Japan and South Korea reached roughly 13 million and 14 million respectively.

In terms of tourism income, the line graph shows that Thailand remained the top earner, starting at approximately $7 billion and accelerating sharply after 2010 to reach roughly $38 billion. Singapore and Japan followed a remarkably similar trajectory, both ending the period at approximately $18-19 billion. South Korea, despite having the second-highest visitor numbers in 2000, ultimately recorded the lowest revenue by 2014, earning just under $15 billion.
