The table illustrates how the amount of food consumed by a single person weekly changed in a European country between 1992 and 2012.

Overall, it is clear that the amount of food consumed per person increased noticeably, with the exception of meat, where the figure fluctuated slightly. While vegetables accounted for the largest part of the individual diet, cheese recorded the lowest figures over the timeframe despite experiencing a minor growth.

Regarding most consumed products, vegetables had the highest figures and increased modestly throughout the period. Starting at 2140, this figure rose moderately to 2190 in 2002 before finishing the timeframe at 2220. Similarly, meat stood at 1148 in 1992, after which its figure increased further to 1211 in 2002 before dropping notably to 1132 at the end of period. Meanwhile, wheat was a less popular product. In 1992 it accounted for 837, which then grew to 920 over the subsequent decade before soaring to 977 in 2012.

As for the remaining products, beans and cheese were less frequently consumed. Beginning at 532 and 113 respectively, these figures increased to 546 for the former product and 125 for the latter in 2002. From that year on, beans recorded modest growth to 590, whereas cheese remained relatively stable.
