The line graph compares three different countries, namely the USA, Canada, and Australia, in terms of the number of annual immigrants from 1990 to 2001, with all values expressed in number of immigrants.

In general, the number of immigrants to Canada experienced an upward trajectory, while the figure for Australia remained relatively stable, albeit at varying levels. Notably, the USA maintained its dominance throughout despite of some volatility.

Beginning with the number of immigrants to Canada, the figure stayed comparatively stable at about 200,000 before rising to over 400,000 by the conclusion of the period. The number of immigrants to Australia showed the lowest figure and stayed relatively unchanged over the years, reaching a low of 180,000.

With regard the USA, the number of immigrants was about 1,400,000 in 1991, which was followed by an increase to 1,800,000 in 1992. Over the following years, this figure plummeted to 1,000,000 in 1993 and gradually decreased by 1996. The corresponding figure steadily declined by 1999, hitting a low of 650,000, prior to edging up to above 900,000 by the end of the period.
