The line graph illustrates the number of immigrants in the USA, Canada, and Australia from 1990 to 2001.

Overall, it is evident that the people who immigrated to the USA represented the highest number, although this figure fell sharply throughout the period, while Australia recorded the lowest figure and fluctuated slightly. By contrast, the number of immigrants to Canada remained generally unchanged.

Looking first at the USA, in 1991, the number of immigrants stood at approximately 1.4 million, before decreasing considerably to 1 million people in 1993. Over the next 10-year period, the number of immigrants fell by 200,000, from 1 million to 800,000.

Turning to the people who immigrated to Canada and Australia, these figures stood at 200,000 and approximately 120,000 respectively in 1991. Meanwhile, the figures for Canada and Australia differed by 50,000 between 1996 and 2000. Furthermore, the figure for Canada reached nearly 450,000, while that for Australia stood at just under 200,000 by the end of the period.
